Daily drawing

After you draw these mouths try making some funny faces
with all the features you have worked with in previous
daily drawing sessions.
If you have a favorite send it to me and I'll post it.

Daily drawing

Practice these eyes in your sketch book, remember no tracing.
Start by drawing softly. When you are happy with the shape you can
draw more firmly. Check back tomorrow for your next lesson.
This lesson is from a book published by Flying Rhino. inc.

First Assignment

Welcome to the club. To get things started I want to set a few ground rules.

1. Always attempt to do the work, Even if its really hard.
2. I require that you submit it to me for Inspection. (I can't help you if you don't)

3. Never trace. Ever!

4.Resist the urge to erase your work, except when the assignment calls for it, for
example to remove construction lines. We will discuss this more later.

5.Try to draw at least once a day. This is really important, just like playing a sport, you
have to practice in order to improve.

6. Set goals, I can help you with this.

7 It is O.K. to use other artist's work to practice, it is never ok to copy and submit it as your
own work. It's also against the law.

Your first assignment is to draw your favorite character. It needs to be something you draw
a lot. Something you have designed. I want you to send me the drawing so I can post it.
This will be a benchmark, something to judge your progress by. Your work will not be
compared to anyone's work but your own.

I want you to feel good about showing your work on our blog. I want you to see other people's work
and see how other people draw. It will greatly improve your own work. Please refrain from giving
others critiques. It is easy to tear others down, It's really difficult to build people up.

Please submit your assignment as soon as you get it completed, so I can post it. In the next week
or so I'll start handing out daily warm up assignments, these will be for fun.

The most important thing is that you have fun. So warm up those pencils, find a nice quiet place and
Lets Draw!!
